1/7/06 Mini seminar and WOD Results

I want to thank everyone for coming to the event on Saturday! We had 20 participate in total which makes this our largest meeting to date.

I want to personal thank Jim of Elite Athletic Development for donating his facility and time for this event. But most of all I want to thank the instructors; Ryan Atkins, Kelly Moore & Larry Lindenman.

Ryan, your lecture on the CrossFit methodology was excellant. And I really appreciated all the hours you and Larry spent putting together the schedule. Larry your talk on the Zone diet really provided the information people needed to get started and to see that it doesn't have to take over there lives. Kelly, thank you for making the long trip to support our group. Your expertise with the deadlift instruction made this event a true success. And thanks to your Mom for taking the pics!!

The final workout consisted of 2 rounds of the exercises that were taught during the meeting; deadlift, push press, pull ups & squats. We had teams of 5 exercise 2 at a time switching when needed with the other 3. The teams exercised 2 minutes per station with 30 seconds transition time to the next station.

Terrific job putting this together with Ryan, Larry, Kelly and Jim. The turnout was huge, the workout was brutal and fun. Was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
