CrossFit ia a core strength and conditioning program designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. It is not a specialized fitness program, but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in all ten areas of fitness: Endurance · Stamina · Strength · Power · Speed · Flexibility · Coordination · Agility · Balance · Accuracy

The CrossFit program draws from multiple training modalities such as gymnastics, olympic weightlifting, power lifting and more to provide constantly varied, if not randomized, functional movements at high intensity. To see some of the workouts go to the main site http://www.crossfit.com/

Not only is CrossFit the method of choice for our elite military units, LEO/First Responders, it is ideal for anyone who wants to enhance their quality of life, health, and sports performance.

REgroup Mineral rights

Just wanted everyone to know that I am handing off control of Crossfit Chicago to Rudy. I loved doing this but I didn't have enough time to keep it going like I wanted.

I am working on my new site REgroup , which buys oil and gas royalties from mineral rights owners. It has been a family business that I continue to this day. I wish Rudy well on his journey.

Update, new website being designed

Pardon my dust and lack of posts as I have been working on a new website for CrossFit Chicago. I don't have a time table yet but I look forward to getting it up as quickly as possible. In the mean time CrossFit Chicago still provides one on one training in the Chicagoland area. Training locations vary since we do not have a physical location at this time. If you are interested please email me direct or join our mailing list.

My email issues are cleared up now so I apoligize if you did not get a response from me lately.

Enjoying the summer with CrossFit!

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and getting there workouts in when we are not training together! For everyone else I wanted to remind you that CrossFit Chicago will be providing private and small group (3-4) training along with select one day seminars to be announced starting in early Fall. As of now we have no plans to run any CrossFit Elements classes as we ran in 2006. But we will be running a one day version of it to meet the needs of the people who are not interested in personal training. Please stay tuned for more details on that. The larger multi day classes did not allow us to provide the level of coaching needed to properly prepare our clients. So we decided to focus our attention on privates. For Fall we are hoping to open up a small facility to accomidate our Crossfitters.

To keep up with us please sign-up for the email list.

Enjoy the Summer!
